As with VehicleWise (Specialist Diesel Ltd) reconditioned engines, the process starts with the donor (core) unit being disassembled and stripped down to component parts for cleaning, grading, and inspection before our professional engineers begin the skillful process of reassembly.

Any component that does not pass our rigorous inspection is discarded and replaced. All bearings, hubs, seals, and synchros are replaced with new, upgraded components. Continuous engineering and continual improvements allow us to solve problems in the original transmission with our own modifications and new components.

Each unit comes with pre-installation instructions and, if necessary, model-specific instructions.

This gearbox is sold on an "Exchange basis". After you purchase you will need to pay a £300.00 + VAT per gearbox REFUNDABLE surcharge. The most straightforward way to do this is to click buy it now and pay for your order. The wait for an invoice to be sent for the additional charge. We can't ship your order until this charge has been paid. Remember the additional charge will be refunded back to you when we receive your old gearbox unit which we will collect free of charge.

Please note: If the exchange gearbox is not in serviceable condition i.e a hole in the casing then the surcharge will become non-refundable
